Job Description

Green Key Resources is currently working with a client in the Miami, Florida area that is search for a Desktop Support Technician.   This is a new position that is being added to the IT department to support the company’s increased growth in internal staff.  The responsibilities of this Desktop Support role will be primarily technical support for Windows 7/8/10 workstations, internet connectivity, mobile device support and Active Directory maintenance.   There are level one technicians on the team that will be passing the escalated issues to this position, so it is preferred that applicants have 1-3 years of experience providing technical support.   This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has been in a Helpdesk or Desktop Support position to expand their technical skillset and join a team with solid leadership.


The ideal candidate for the Desktop Support Level 2 role will have experience with


  • Providing technical support while focusing on a high level of customer service
  • Prioritizing tasks based upon severity of issues
  • ConnectWise or a similar platform for ticketing and remote login
  • Active Directory (Adding, removing and/or modifying users)
  • Mobile device support




It would also be helpful but is not required to have experience with


  • Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • VMware ESXi
  • Basic to intermediate networking
  • Certifications such as A+, N+, MCP, MCSA or CCNA
