Job Description

  • Non-Profit in the Bronx looking for a Housing Administrator/ALP Director to join their team
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Hire, train, supervise, support, and evaluate staff to ensure the provision of high quality services to the ALP residents
    • Plan and implement work assignments for staff to ensure adequate staffing on a 24-hour basis
    • Ensure that periodic audits are done to be in compliance with regulatory guidelines
    • Monitor, evaluate and implement strategies to optimize employee satisfaction
    • Develop, monitor and meet the annual budget expectations of the ALP
    • Ensure that the daily operations of the residential properties are managed appropriately and effectively in accordance with established policies and federal and state guidelines
    • Responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of initiatives designed to increase occupancy or lease renewal rates
    • Coordinate and participate with Business Development to ensure that there is a steady stream of new admission applicants, to meet budgeted occupancy
    • Maintain relevant community and advocacy involvement to keep current on regulations and trends

Qualifications

Experience in ALP required

Master’s degree from accredited college/university and one year of related work experience OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and 3 years of related experience acceptable to the DOH in supervisory capacity
