A NYC based Accounting firm is seeking a contract recruiter to come on board for 3-4 months due to an uptick in hiring needs and various internal changes. The firm taken on much new business over the past year and requires the expertise of a strong full lifecycle recruiter with experience sourcing a wide range of professionals from entry level to C-level. The ideal candidate must be creative, and know how to apply traditional sourcing strategies in a resourceful way.
Develop the pool of qualified candidates utilizing traditional and new sourcing techniques.
Follow established guidelines and procedures concerning staffing best practices and process improvements
Advise management regarding industry standards, managing expectations, budgets and offering guidance regarding current market conditions. Keep team leaders appraised of recruitment trends that are or may impact the business.
Assess applicants measuring their technical competencies and experience for each role and adhering to the line manager specifications in the ideal candidate.
Work with managers to write and edit job descriptions in line with company policy ensuring EEO guidelines are met.
Coach managers and team leaders in the recruitment process
Maintain a schedule for interviews and carry out interviews in a professional and successful manner.
Utilize vendors as a last resort when all other sourcing techniques have been exhausted.
3-5 years’ experience in full cycle recruiting
Excel in problem solving ability with proficient persuasive communication skills
Must be personable and friendly yet maintain a professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills and an excellent knack for multi-tasking
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
