A well established and rapidly growing Asset Management firm is seeking a junior HR Coordinator to assist the HR Generalist on a day to day basis. The role is essential to help maintain, shape and further develop the firms’ strategic plan. This role is highly visible and very important to the cohesiveness of the HR team and the wider firm. This is a temp to perm role with a 3 month probationary period paying up to 45k.
Act as the first point of contact for all HR related questions as well as meeting visitors, applicants and employees when reporting to the HR office
Assist in benefit enrollment for newly hired employees
Conduct background checks for new hires and assist in the performance review process
Work side by side the Human Resources Generalist for any projects or assignments that are needed to be completed
Assist with finding new talent, scheduling interviews/meetings, and making travel arrangements
Assist the HR Generalist in creating, maintaining, updating existing employees and new hire employees files.
Carry out basic administrative duties such as filing, faxing, copying, entering data etc. when needed.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
Strong skills using in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Able to utilize multiple databases simultaneously
Must have a true passion to succeed in human resources and in financial services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional detail orientation skills with an ability to follow up with all pending work
