Job Description

  • Health insurance company in the Bronx looking for a full-time Member Services Representative to join their team
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Resolve member questions/issues while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines
    • Document all contacts with external customers. And route documentation for appropriate follow-up
    • Identify and report any issues that pose a risk to superior service or potential for liability
    • Meet or exceed base call center productivity and quality standards
    • Conduct outbound calls, education and outreach, and attend meetings

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of member services experience required
  • Strong customer service experience in managed care
  • Bilingualism required (Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian, Hindu, Creole, etc)
