Our financial tech client is seeking a Manager, Product Marketing & Communications to join its global marketing and communications team. This role will be an important support role at the confluence of Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology, and our Member community and will be responsible for developing product-related campaigns and communications that specifically drive the uptake and expansion of our extensive product range. The ideal candidate is a confident professional with a background in product marketing and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work closely with the equities and fixed income Marketing, Product, and business leads to develop product messaging, design and time campaigns, and oversee a project management calendar of product marketing milestones and release/launch dates
Conceptualize, research, write, and/or edit product-related messages for a variety of marketing and communications activities, including: one-pagers, release notes, presentations, how-to guides, video scripts, surveys, and internal communications
Be fully conversant in marketing information, stats, and updates about the company’s entire product suite, covering fixed income and equities, both locally and globally
Create, deliver and present post-campaign reports to key stakeholders identifying successes, challenges, feedback, metrics and results.
Work closely with each Marketing Lead to identify unique opportunities to position, message, and promote our product range
Develop and manage project schedules and deadlines, including the management of internal/external stakeholders and sign-offs
Contribute to idea generation for the broader marketing function
BA/BBus in Marketing and/or Communications or equivalent
Min 5 years’ marketing/communications experience in a related field—trading, asset management, finance, technology, or disruptive start-up
A very strong ability in both oral and written communications, including demonstrated writing and editing skills.
He/she must be able to work independently to breakdown complex ideas/concepts/thoughts into easily consumable and compelling marketing that also supports a consistent, evolving story about the brand
Must have a passion for product innovation and technology
Customer-serviced focused, team player, active relationship builder, and diplomat
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional global teams, managing multiple projects and priorities successfully
