Job Description

Our NYC-based sustainable fashion client is seeking a Web Optimization Specialist to oversee web optimization, paid search, and search engine optimization. The Web Optimization Specialist will be responsible for establishing marketing objectives and measuring campaign performance and KPIs. The ideal candidate has a background in SEO/SEM and digital marketing analysis combined with a proven ability to effectively execute digital marketing and advertising campaigns increasing revenue.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the Web Marketing Manager to create new reporting for programs, including close partnership with 3rd party vendors

Develop international website marketing plans and growth strategy, supporting international Retail Stores and wholesale partners

Create budgets for each marketing channel, develop marketing plans and goals, execute programs, measure and provide regular reporting and insights on campaign performance

Create strategic roadmap and manage the relationship with external paid search agency to drive online traffic including both new and existing customers through Paid Search, Product Listing Ads, Dynamic Search Ads and other digital marketing programs.

Manage third party partners on planning and execution of paid search, SEO, display campaigns, and local listings ensuring programs are optimized, ROAS, ROI, and new to file targets are met

Work cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners to execute campaigns and manage end to end test execution and successful website roll-outs, ensuring strategies are aligned, brand guidelines followed, assets created, and budgets and deadlines met

Create strategic roadmap and manage the relationship with external paid search agency to drive online traffic including both new and existing customers through Paid Search, Product Listing Ads, Dynamic Search Ads and other digital marketing programs.

Manage planning and execution of multivariate testing, generating impactful testing and targeting plan through site analysis, mapping optimization initiatives and timelines to meet the defined strategic objectives and goals

Develop prospecting plans to drive new to file customers, reporting on success including customer insights, customer acquisition costs, and retention analysis

Manage Search Engine Optimization efforts with external partners and internal teams to provide on-page optimizations and manage back-end development work

Analyze program success and optimize performance and outline test plan with objective, clear hypothesis, and success metrics needed to measure effectiveness

Manage and execute all online promotions and marketing plans including shopping cart and page banners, user-generated content, upsells and cross-sells in addition to the development of new and innovative ideas, programs, measurement, and reporting on cost and customer response rates

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a digital online marketing role with experience in driving customer acquisition, multivariate testing, and revenue growth through the implementation of digital marketing strategies

Exceptional understanding and experience of digital marketing and ecommerce user experience across the various marketing channels

Creative thinker and problem solver with the ability to recognize a bottleneck, devise a test strategy, resulting in an actionable solution.

Advanced analytics capability with an aptitude for quantitative analysis.

Creative thinker who is also highly organized with excellent project management skills managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with manipulating data and performing calculations in Excel to create reports (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, formatting, and dashboards), Doubleclick Search, DCM, an enterprise Multivariate Testing Platform, and Google Analytics and AdWords is a MUST (Google Certification is a PLUS!
