Job Description

Our media agency client is seeking a temporary Jr. SEM/Paid Search Analyst to support the search team with keyword/copy creation, billing, trafficking and Q/A. The ideal candidate has previous experience with a media agency or digital brand, and the proven ability to demonstrate rigor and absolute accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Exhibits understanding and ability to clearly discuss paid search fundamentals (Acronyms, Jargon, etc)

Demonstrated ability to build out new ad groups and campaigns Account optimization of bids and KPIs to meet client needs

Pulling and organizing reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and generating insights from the data

Review competitive tactics and make recommendations on how to overcome

Flawless execution of Q/A fundamentals and implementation of Q/A best practices in daily tasks as well as providing proactive recommendations on optimization/growth opportunities

Implement and monitor tests e.g. A/B landing page and copy tests

Train others as well as clear ability to delegate tasks when appropriate

Understanding of pacing, flighting and nuances of managing client spend

Able to present observations/insights/recommendations on client calls

Participate in and contribute to all Team/Client/Partner meetings

Create Excel pivot tables, formulas, graphs, and chart

Complete budget tracking documents and review with Search Manager

Traffic, upload, and QA keywords, leveraging the Bid Management Tool process

Monitor and report any account anomalies to manager

Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

1+ years experience with Fortune 1000 brands and/or within an agency environment required

Advanced experience with Google, Yahoo & Bing

Advanced experience with at least one bidding platform such as Marin, Kenshoo or Doubleclick

Excellent writing skills with an attention to detail

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required

Ability to multitask and handle other duties as assigned

Spanish speaking is a plus

BA/BS or equivalent in Marketing, or a related field is preferable
