*Provide input to establish key operational goals and objectives.
*Oversee individual team activities associated with case management, clinical trials management and/or submissions activities.
*Ensure teams are in compliance with all reporting requirements to partners and regulators.
*Ensure teams are in compliance with internal guidelines and SOPs.
*Ensure teams are meeting specific data and quality targets for case handling and/or submissions.
*Oversee all activities or responsibilities that are delegated to junior staff members and ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met appropriately.
*Work with team and Manager to create learning plans and recommends training and development solutions and provides mentoring and coaching as appropriate.
*Provide input and works with Manager regarding future developmental needs of the team.
*Health care professional degree
* 5+ years of drug safety experience in both clinical and post-marketing environment.
*6+ years of drug safety experience in both clinical and post-marketing environment and a BS degree in a related science.
*7+ years of experience in the drug safety field.
*Understanding of medical terminology and the ability to summarize medical information required.
*Ability to assess data and understand the medical/safety implications.
*Ability to provide direction to a team and to influence peers and team members appropriately preferred.
*Ability to effectively represent PV Operations on multidisciplinary teams.
*Excellent project management skills with the ability to align internal and external resources.
